Photo Layout Order:

If you've noticed the "order" box on the Edit Gallery page you've probably thought - "What the heck is that?" The order box controls the layout of your images, but it also has a few extra features built in for you.

The most basic way to use the feature is to change the layout of your images. The images will be displayed in ascending order. More than one image can have the same order number, in this case, the image that was uploaded first will be displayed higher in the order.
As a default your first 12 photos will show up as a thumbnail preview when people view your profile. However, any images with an order number higher than 20 will not be displayed on your profile. For example, if you have 6 images in your gallery, but only want the first 4 to display in your profile, order the images "1, 2, 3, 4, 21, 22" - the 21 and 22 won't show up in the profile, but will be visible to people in your gallery view.
You can also make your images invisible to anyone browsing your gallery by ordering them with the number "99" - It is important to note that these images are not private, they are just hidden. Anyone who had already book marked the image will still see it when they view the bookmark. The feature is meant to allow you to preview images and thumbnails before you release them for public view.

To add sample images to your search result, use an order number of 1-4. Up to 4 images will be displayed in this area. (It's best to use square thumbnails for these samples, because the image will automatically be resized to 40px by 40px, no matter what the natural proportions of the thumbnail are).

- Be aware that you must have at least one image available for preview on your index page (that is, ordered with a number of 20 or less) in order for people to see the link to your gallery. For aesthetic reasons, the system omits the gallery title and link from your profile if you have no thumbnails to display.
